Robin, Jaco (and lovely partner), Leslie, Fabiana, Tab and Tom

Leslie tested XO-1.0
Impode - could not share even though button is there
wikipedia, made bookmarks, no problems

Fabiana tested XO-1.0
Implode - could not share even though button is there, turning XO lid over
to be tablet found cant get from menu to game and vice versa so no way to
start new game as need mouse for this.
GeoCompris - memory and numerate.


Spent a lot of time writing and discussing NZ deployment options, research
proposals and funding approaches.

Talked about Software Freedom Day options. There is talk of sourcing old
computers and recycling them, putting an o/s and software on them and giving
them to schools. Part of that build would be Sugar.

There is an install fest at Auckland Uni - The event will be held in the
Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering Briefing Room (Rm#:
303.257), 2nd Floor, University of Auckland Science Centre, Princes St,
Auckland on the 2nd May 2010 from 10am - 5pm. Follow the UALUG signs to find
the room. Doors will be open from 10am - 11am, with instructions left at the
door for those who arrive after this. We will try and take an XO to show
people there if they haven't seen one yet.
