[sugar] composite memory usage [was Re: frame auto-visibility configuration]

Also, just rebooted, turned on Composition again and went to
http://lists.laptop.org/pipermail/bugs/2008-September/thread.html . I
noticed that it took longer to fully render/download the page than
usual (it allways takes long, it's just that this time it took even
longer). Perhaps this is because there composition is done via the
main cpu, which then makes the overall cpu perfomance be slower.
As I type this on Gmail on the XO with composition, and with only
another Browse activity opened, the letters take a while to appear
(i.e., I can type a long piece of text, then stop and see the last few
words being typed "by themselves"). I remember seeing this behaviour a
long time ago (months) but not with recent builds.
