The principle goal of this discussion is to make the X Activity
unnecessary by moving that functionality into Sugar's window management.
Possible motivations for this include: more seamless integration with
legacy apps, lower overhead when running legacy apps, easier installation
of legacy apps.
Personally, I have not used the X Activity, and so I don't actually know
what its overheads are, how difficult it is to set up with a new
application, or how well it integrates with Sugar (e.g. copy/paste,
localization, theming).
