Heh.  I really think we need this.  The current "solution" really is a
hack which plays nice with rainbow, but doesn't provide an optimal
experience.  I know Michael has some ideas on how to make things both
nice and secure.  How far are we from an implementation plan here?

This functionality also seems important in relation tot he "narrative"
topic which Michael expressed interest in before.  We need to take a
lot of steps forward, one at a time, in making information easy to
move among various activities, and this includes the ability to launch
other activities from within activities.  We'll also want to consider
how the invoking activity might get access to the result of a launched
activity (maybe we get this for free?).
