Logs: http://dev.laptop.org/~tomeu/sugar_meeting_Feb_19.log

Attending: tomeu, erikos, cjb, CristophD, daja77, Ridderman

Topics:
* roadmap: http://wiki.laptop.org/go/Sugar_Roadmap
    o Tomeu tried to describe the latest mockups for the New Home view
and Frame design.
    o UI for sugar-control-panel, ChristophD appearently did some work
on this already

* Activity handbook:
    o "The purpose of the activity handbook is to provide you with all
the information you need in order to get started with software
development for the OLPC XO."
    o http://www.olpcaustria.org/mediawiki/index.php/Activity_handbook

* distribute/share activity
    o distribute Journal entries and activities
    o use ObjectChooser to choose the object to share
    o bemasc was not around to discuss his activity

* Message Board activity for each class/school
(some first ideas)
    o the idea is to have some way of providing a persistent message
board without a school server or Internet access.
    o if you have a school server it could be a webpage on the school server
    o for example, every laptop could broadcast every message board note
it's seen and the activity could know to collate them and remove duplicates
    o passing a USB stick with a portable mediawiki

* Disconnected backups
    o http://lists.laptop.org/pipermail/sugar/2008-February/004318.html

* Focus Bugs
    o Ridderman is working on focus bugs in Sugar/GTK
http://dev.laptop.org/ticket/2045

* Meeting weekly?
    o We had a discussion whether the meeting should be weekly or not,
For the moment we agreed to alternate and do big weeks where the meeting
should be more general (people can get the big picture) and the small
weeks mostly for core people. This week was a 'big' one - so next week
will be a small one and so on and on.

* Meeting time
People are encouraged to vote for their preferred time of the meeting:

Best,
    Simon
