I had the same thought - I think we could do something to make it much
easier for people to define new key -> action mappings. But one
would need to have a good sense of the usual way(s) users / distros /
customizers prefer to do this type of customization, which I don't
have but plan to muck around with some thoughts and submit a future patch.
This also led me to consider the idea of making it easier to define
the actions themselves, so that we're not just allowing re-assignment,
but new assignment. The implementation and considerations thereof are
even more beyond the scope of what I had intended to achieve, though.

I definitely intended no presumption. I have removed the comment in
the upcoming version of the patch.
