I don't think 70 MB is a problem:<br>
<br>
- cloning is normally only done once,<br>
<br>
- developers can be advised to clone and then copy so as to avoid<br>
having to clone again,<br>
<br>
- developers on restricted bandwidth should learn to use --depth,<br>
<br>
The --depth=1 clone of git://<a href="http://dev.sugardextrose.org/xs-config" target="_blank">dev.sugardextrose.org/xs-config</a> costs<br>
only 422 kB.<br>
