<DIV><FONT face=Calibri>I tried turning off iptables and am running as root in
an FC 17 vbox on a windows 7 machine (firewall also off) connected to the lan
side of the XS. ping schoolserver.local gets a reply 64 bytes from
172.18.96.1: icmp_req=1 ttl=64 time=1.28 ms and pinging the FC17 vbox from the
schoolserver also gets a reply. Collaboration with two XOs and this XS
works and I verified that it uses gabble.</FONT></DIV>
