I moved the settings into that page so teachers can directly link their own Blogger.com blogs rather than having an admin configuring the blogs for them. I think this is easier to use. With my new user pflores I could login, then it asked me if I am sure to enroll to the course, y clicked Yes and it appears a banner: "Sorry, but you do not currently have permissions to do that (Manage activities)". Were you trying to post to a blog or create a new blog? When you enrol you are by default a student so you can post to blogs and view them but not make new ones. I tested creating a new account and these links work. To create a new blog, an admin needs to set your account to a teacher level.</blockquote>

The other question is: How will children create their own account if it needs an administrator approval? It might become a bit impractical... Maybe it's better not needing the approval, and if there is some trouble, the admin can delete unwanted users, what you think?<br>

Moodle gives us several authentication options. I will try to implement what you are suggesting as an auth module. Students can just register without any confirmation. Also, email based registration won't work because as far as I know, the XS does not have an email service.</blockquote>
<div>That's right (at least, at the moment). <br>I think in the future the best will be developing some kind of middleware to let users authenticate with other accounts (it's not good giving many different user/password for all children).<br>

it takes me to the moodle login in spanish, so far so good.<br>

Then if I try to login with the user teacher, it takes me to<br>
an error message that says: "This course doesn't exist", and a<br>
"Continue" button. When I press it, it goes back to the home<br>
page. The same happens if I login with the user teacheres. If<br>
then I go again to the "Create new blog" link, I can see the<br>
courses page, but it's not possible to create a new course,<br>
there is no link or option for this.<br>

Another problem I found trying to create a new user: I could<br>
fill in the registration form, but it never sends me the<br>
confirmation email, so I can't finish the process.<br>
<br>
Other strange behaviour in the XO, is that the "logout" option<br>
never appears in the top-right of the page.<br>
<br>
I'll try to go on testing, but so far the administration is<br>
not working from the XO...<br>

accounts for all the teachers and students testing, that<br>

ideal.<br>
