[Server-devel] Moodle Integration and Functionality Update

I am working with a server deployment in Kenya which has caught the eye of the Kenya Ministry of Education and a Kenya e-Learning Company. The e-Learning company has developed a web based local content application using Moodle. I have been in discussion with them to port the capability over to an XS, so the students can access the content without an external internet connection (which is slow to non-existent). They are willing to do this, but believe that the Moodle on the XS does not have the functionality of the current version of Moodle they are using.

I have asked for more details on the what version they are using and what functionality is missing. I should hear back soon.

My questions is this: The XS uses a custom Moodle installation that is "tightly integrated with Browse.xo" and other things. Is it possible to upgrade Moodle and still maintain the integration needed?
