Think your in un-charted waters, maybe that image is targeted at XO-1,
using F9. Most of the 1.5 work has been with F11. You could start out
with a F11 based image for the XO-1.5 and add the XS rpms to that
install from:
http://fedora.laptop.org/xs/testing/olpc/11/

I'll come up with a how-to on enabling the above repo and having yum
handle the install.
