done, tested, published. Upgrade using

   yum --enablerepo=olpcxs-testing install xs-config

or otherwise grab
http://xs-dev.laptop.org/xsrepos/testing/olpc/9/i386/xs-config-0.6.0.14.g947ebe6-1.noarch.rpm
and install it with

  rpm -Uvh xs-config-0.6.0.14.g947ebe6-1.noarch.rpm
