Several posts in the list archive tell the story :-) -- the gist (but
notthe full story, do search the archive!) is:

 - behaviour under hard-power-off, brownouts
 - behaviour under low memory conditions

If you want to discuss it more, did I mention you should  search the
archives? ;-)
