The current backup code is called "ds-backup". See the wiki and search
the archives of this list for more info.

With the next release of the XS (0.6, coming soon) the backup/restore
process will be complete. Have a look at my recent messages here about
test-driving the development version of moodle, which has special code
for driving the restore process.

Hopefully that covers your backup/restore needs -- can you test it and
tell me if it works for your needs?
