FYI,
I have an un-used wind-turbine, Hornet 600, (rated 600W in low wind)
12/24/48V DC generator, which I could donate to the cause.. but I don't know
the most effective/efficient/proper method of getting it down to Peru for
you. Two boxes, one has the alternator (heavy) and mounting brackets/waves,
and the other has the very sharp approx 27" blades. (More details about the
product, here... http://www.hydrogenappliances.com/Hornet600.html )
All you'll need is a tall pole and wire to transfer the electricity from the
top of the pole to your electricity storage system (i.e. bank of 12 V
batteries).
I wonder if anyone is going from the U.S. (Seattle area), to Peru anytime
soon ? :-)
*grin*
