[Peripherals] CIS solar charging-correct list?

I'm still on the solar OLPC quest, & after meandering assorted
automotive "goodies" displays here in Wellington (NZ),found Kmart
selling some outstanding value 12V 5Ah "Rechargeable Power Packs".
This  ~US$35 offering, pictured at =>
www.manuka.orconhosting.net.nz/powerpak.jpg ,even has an inbuilt
inverter, & this easily charged an XO from it's mains plug pack. The
batteries alone are worth at least this price!

 Beefy "5 in 1" units on display ( at ~x 3 the price) looked good
enough to run a village! Stan
