Education Network (OPEN) will host an exciting panel discussion, demos,
celebration, and fundraiser at the Cambridge Innovation Center from 6pm – 9pm
on December 4^th featuring leading education experts and technology
innovators </span><span>Brian Silverman, Artemis Papert,
Gary Stager</span><span>,
Mitch Resnick, Meredith Hamilton, Danny Fain and Johnny Ronelus. They’ll <span>share their experiences and insights about
the latest developments in educational games and other related technology-based
learning programs. The event will also</span> honor constructionism pioneer and
MIT Professor and <span>founding member of
the </span></span><a href="http://www.media.mit.edu/"><span>MIT
Media Lab</span></a><span>
Seymour Papert for his contributions to education, including his promotion of
technology use in classrooms. With the generous support from R.R. Donnelley
& Sons Company, Citizens Bank, and others, SSBI and OPEN will move forward
with their educational and environmental endeavors in the U.S. and the world’s
