<p style="LINE-HEIGHT: 170%"><font size="3"><span style="FONT-FAMILY: 'Calibri','sans-serif'">While creating simple or complex designs in Turtle Art or Scratch, the children will be discovering by<span style="COLOR: black"> doing; becoming mathematicians rather than learning math.<span style="mso-spacerun: yes"> </span>The elements in the programs provide building blocks and tools with which the children create objects step by step and end up with fully developed projects. This gives them an appreciation of the powerful mathematical and programming ideas which have enabled them to complete their projects.<span style="mso-spacerun: yes"> </span></span></span><span lang="EN" style="COLOR: black; FONT-FAMILY: 'Calibri','sans-serif'; mso-ansi-language: EN">The Sugar environment is beautifully designed child centered colorful creative world. There is a worldwide consortium of teachers using the XO, and developing learning plans and curriculums with these tools. </span></font></p>
