Hi S
Would you be able to add on the no-charge parking option to the Boston User
Group's post?
Anyone coming at 4:30-5pm by car probably would find that most valuable.

After 3pm, there is an unattended MIT lot folks can use; 5 minute walk from
Stata Center, Building 32:
Hayward Lot http://whereis.mit.edu/map-jpg?selection=P5&Parking=go
(DO NOT drive Ames to Amherst St.; it's a one-way.) Walking through E25, the
courtyard, and Ames St., the iconic Stata bldg. is straight ahead.

Other parking options?
Paid parking is available at the Marriot Hotel. If you're lucky, sometimes
there are spots on Memorial Drive or parking meters on Ames and Main
Streets.

The Stata Center is in the immediate vicinity of the Kendall/MIT stop on the
Red Line and a 15 minute walk from Lechmere Station on the Green Line. MIT
is also a 15-30 minute walk from downtown Boston.
