my problem with having the jam AND the meetup at the same time is that there
is too much going on. it would be too loud and you cant have discussions
with other XO owners while also trying to explain. however, it might not be
a bad idea to have it immediately after the saturday meetup since at least a
few of us would already be together, and also might encourage a few more
people to show up (just in case they decided not to show on based on the
premise that no one would be there).
another day that would be decent would be sunday. preferably early in the
day (11 to whenever). that way, at least for my sechdule, it wouldnt mess up
the rest of the day by being smack dab in the middle of it.
if you are going to change the XO day though, please keep it saturday or
sunday, as i would like to attend one of the monthly meetings, but havent
been able to since early evening on a tuesday is just....well was tuesday
ever a good idea? (my attempt at humor)
but yeah if you change it to sat or sun i should be able to make those
meetups at least once in a while.
