It'd be cool to see a little consumer reports-style experiment, gauging
how well the XO stands up to some abuse vs. the EEE et al.

hey i just realized something

Diane came up with a really decent idea that was so obviously great that
i cant believe it took me a while to realize how good of an idea it is
for diane to be bringing her EEE in. the XO has a number of competitors,
and while we all know of them or at least have heard of them, i doubt
too many people have really tried out too many of the various products
that is in "competition" with the XO. since many of the different sub
notebook competitors out there have substancially different designs, I
think the XO groups could learn alot from the competiting companies to
see what they are doing better than the XO and what they are doing worse
in terms of software and OS.

Be that as it may i am now wondering if anyone would like to try out a
kindle which i got a few weeks ago. It is actually (in my opinion) not
all it is cracked up to be, but if anyone would like to to try it out
give me a heads up via e mail and i'll be sure to bring it along.

seeing as how that actually seems like a really obvious and decent idea,
