I have taught teachers and also kids but not in a school environment, but in community Centres, Churches and Camps. <br><br><br>5. This included talk shows on Radios and TV etc...etc. <br><br>6. Do you have experience working in rural or inner-city schools ?<br>- Yes both . Johannesburg City Centre and also rural areas such as Nquthu in KZN. <br><br><br>8. Do you think the first OLPC pilot program should be run in a rural <br>school or an inner-city school ?<br>- Rural School . It is going to be hard and resource intensive - but most rewarding. <br><br><br>12. What are your top three reasons for why OLPC won't work (or won't <br>work as well as it could) in South Africa ?<br>- I asume in brackets the question was (or will work as it could). I think it will work because 1) need NO power (electricity), 2) It is a kids educational toy. 3) Why not - no other reason why it cannot. <br><br>13. What are the top three benefits you see if South Africa were to <br>invest in OLPC ?<br>- 1) Address the education problem 2) Eradicate Poverty through ICT 3) Bringing low cost technology with high returns. <br><br>14. What other questions should I have asked in this questionaire ? <br>- One issue that the questionaire does not address is the language issue. I believe bringing technology in the language tat people understand - makes penetration easiers. So all respondents must unswer what languages are they able to communicate in out of the 11.
