Not to mention that the XO uses new innovative stuff in almost every
part of the system.

I just saw a B4 here at Guadec, with the new chemistry battery. I
can't remember what it's called, but the new batteries are lighter,
more tolerant of high and low ambient temperatures, have more capacity
and are about the same price.
