[Olpc-uk] Meeting Reminder and Agenda

Good afternoon everyone,

 

Just a reminder that the next meeting of the OLPC UK group is on:

 

Date: Wednesday 27th May

Arrival: 6:00pm

Start: 6:30pm (Sharp)

Finish: 8:30pm

Venue: TBC – No option suitable to all has been uncovered that costs less
than £175 – if we have sufficient RSVP’s prepared to contribute to venue
hire we could run with that option which is the Holiday Inn at Kings Cross

Catering: TBC

 

Please RSVP by COB Friday to ensure that we know how many people we need to
accommodate.

 

There will be two main objectives for this meeting:

·         Pilot Update: ensure all involved in the pilot are across where it
is at, and that any roles that need to be filled are discussed

·         OLPC UK: look toward planning of the next phases of growth and
promotion

 

To facilitate this I have drafted the following agenda:

d.      PR Concepts – Pilot Focused

e.      Website Updated (Dom Baker)

f.        Draft Timeline of Promotion Activity

3.       OLPC UK Organisation

a.       Charity Organisation registration – the requirements and pitfalls

b.      Open Discussion – timing of formal organisation creation
