[Olpc-uk] Meeting - Date and Agenda Suggestion

A strong supporter of the OLPC concept (like many of you) I would like to
see an active foundation in the UK. And its action that counts. Previous
posts have suggested meeting and I think that is a perfect way to kick
things off. As such I propose the following:

Meeting Date - 8 April 2009
Meeting Time - 6.30pm
Meeting Location - Central London, TBC

There is a proposed agenda below, please advise any suggestions for topics /
items that you think should be discussed or should be removed.

It would be great if everyone could advise:

* there attendance 
* if you don't live in London if you would attend if there was a meeting
closer 
* finally if you have an XO that you would be happy bringing to the meeting.

Agenda

1.       People - a simple introduction of the interested attendees, the
reason you want to be involved and what you would like to do to further the
OLPC cause here and internationally

2.       The XO - we will need one or two owners of XO's to demonstrate the
technology for those yet to experience it

3.       OLPC UK - gathering of thoughts regarding the activities that could
be undertaken by the UK group

I look forward to meeting and discussing this fantastic cause.
