OLPC UK meeting number one was an excellent success, with a strong sharing of ideas and a great variety of people and backgrounds; an excellent platform for a successful organisation.

Aiming high the group has committed to doing everything possible to acheive a pilot by September 2009.  This will take some hard work and strong co-operation so we look forward to seeing you at:

Arrival: 6:15pm
Start: 6:30pm
Venue: TBC

Venue: I am looking for venues and would prefer for our second meeting to move to a genuine function room, with an attached cafe / bar for catering and post function socialising purposes.  If anyone has contacts in the hotel / function centre business who can provide access to a quality venue with excellent transport links at a reasonable rate then please email me ASAP.

A summary of the topics discussed on the 8th April will be available in the next couple of days.
