It is the "unloved stepchild" of <a href="http://laptop.org" target="_blank">laptop.org</a>: it lacks a UPS, backups, or full-time sysadmin attention. It has some uses, which are (hopefully) documented somewhere, but if it broke tomorrow nothing mission critical would have been lost. <br>
