Free enrollment is now open for the <i>MITx</i> pilot course, 6.002x Circuits and Electronics. Please visit the
<a href="http://e2ma.net/go/11663362488/4204109/113798815/12960/goto:http://mitx.mit.edu" style="font-family: Verdana, Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif; color: #000000;"><i>MITx</i> site</a> to enroll. The course will officially begin on March 5.<br>
<br>
<i>MITx</i> will build a virtual community of online learners and allow them to earn certificates for demonstrating mastery of <i>MITx</i> subjects at modest cost. <i>MITx</i> will also serve as a cornerstone of MIT's research into digitally supported teaching and learning. For this initiative, the Institute is developing new online materials to support <i>MITx</i> users. <br>
<br>
Everything on <i>MITx</i> short of credentialing is free of charge, and the <i>MITx</i> learning platform is being built using open-source software that will be freely available to the world.<br>
