La escribió después que sus teorías sobre educación habían sido ampliamente criticadas.</span></div><div><span class="Apple-style-span" style="font-size: 18px;"><br></span></div><div><span class="Apple-style-span" style="font-size: 18px;">Muy a propósito usó lenguaje sencillo, para todo público. Pensaba que en cuanto se formula una teoría con algún nombre terminado en "ismo", aparecen los opositores. Por lo tanto mejor que emitir teorías, prefiere dar ideas sobre cómo enseñar.</span></div><div><span class="Apple-style-span" style="font-size: 18px;"><br></span></div><div><span class="Apple-style-span" style="font-size: 18px;">Si bien este libro fue escrito hace más de setenta años, las circunstancias del mundo en ese entonces tenían algunos parecidos importantes con el mundo actual.</span></div><div><span class="Apple-style-span" style="font-size: 18px;"><br></span></div><div><span class="Apple-style-span" style="font-size: 18px;">Hoy decimos que hay que modernizar la enseñanza para adaptarla a la era digital que estamos comenzando a vivir.</span></div><div><span class="Apple-style-span" style="font-size: 18px;"><br></span></div><div><span class="Apple-style-span" style="font-size: 18px;">En la época de Dewey pensaban que la enseñanza aún no se había adaptado a las nuevos avances que estaba haciendo el mundo científico.</span></div><div><span class="Apple-style-span" style="font-size: 18px;"><br></span></div><div><span class="Apple-style-span" style="font-size: 18px;">No hacía mucho tiempo que Louis Pasteur había hecho sus descubrimientos sobre bacterias y microbios y que Joseph Lister había revolucionado la medicina introduciendo la necesidad de extremar la higiene en la sala de operaciones.</span></div><div><span class="Apple-style-span" style="font-size: 18px;"><br></span></div><div>
