Subject: Tech.Camp Uruguay -- Search for education civil society groups!
To:

Amigos --

The U.S. Department of State, in collaboration with the Uruguayan
government, is organizing a Tech.Camp that will explore the uses of
mobile and online technologies in education in the Western Hemisphere.
The conference will take place in Montevideo, Uruguay from September
29 – October 1 and will include representatives from throughout the
region.

We are interested in connecting with civil society organizations (CSO)
focused on education in the hemisphere.  CSO participants would share
their experience leveraging technology to expand educational
opportunities in their cities/countries.  In addition, CSO
participants would participate in interactive workshops to increase
their digital literacy around some of the tools available.

We need your help to identify great civil society organizations to
take part!  Representatives do not need a deep background on
technology – they will have the opportunity to explore these tools
during the conference.  Please email or call me with any
recommendations or questions.

Thanks so much for your help.

Best,

Suzanne
