<br>We can only hope Malaysia's "OLPC 2.0" basecamp retreat over the coming week matches this in new and different ways, given a very refreshing set of eyes arising from almost half the world's population within a 4-hour flight of here! Where we'll be learning firsthand about growing OLPC-like work in Nepal, Cambodia, Pakistan, Malaysia, China and many others no undoubtedly... Even if chief organizer TK Kang may never surpass Carol Ruth Silver's & the Kleiders & Sameer's fine SF hospitality, he's certainly trying -- with stunning personal tours of Kuala Lumpur for 2 days in a row now (and intriguing hints why Google Chromebooks may be coming to every school across this 30-million person Equatorial Switzerland known as Malaysia ;)<br>
