[OLPC-SF] OLPC-SF August Meeting

For those that couldn't attend, our meeting today went quite well. The
agenda on the white board today was:

* Summit Planning, Oct 15-17, 2013 http://www.olpcsf.org/summit

, NOT the XO-3. The XO Tablet has similar specs to
http://www.vivitar.com/products/108/tablets/1172/camelio and does not
have the familiar XO dual-mode TFT display.

* XS Data Extraction

Thank you for the corrections to my previous email about the XO
Tablet. My apologies for the errors. Keeping updated on the the
twists, turns and specs can be challenging. We had a couple of the XO
Tablets at the meeting to test. The Dream UI on top of Android is
quite different.

>From discussion it seems that the XO 1.0 and 1.5 are no longer being
produced. The XO 1.75 C2 (single core arm) has been produced since
beginning of February, 2012. http://wiki.laptop.org/go/XO_1.75 and the
XO-4 Touch C2 (multi-core arm) models
http://wiki.laptop.org/go/XO-4_Touch with or without the optional
touch screen have been produced since the end of Feb, 2013.
