Here are a few more details.

5 teachers, 6 students arrived yesterday from South Africa. The school
is in rural SA. They have 80 XO-1 machines with Sugar 0.82.1 They
don't have any Internet success. There is no evidence of a XS school
server. The understanding is that XOs are under used.

Ideally they want to get trained in:

1) Write
2) Record
3) Journal feature
4) Transfer what they have written and recorded from the XOs to a
teacher netbook using a USB flash drive.

We could also do E-toys if Cherry agrees/has the time...she is the expert!

I have also suggested a session with the folks to talk about the school server.

We have three possible dates and times:
Thursday, January 13 1:30-3:00
Thursday, January 20 11:00-12:30
Friday, January 21 11:00-12:30 (a bit uncertain)

I believe the sessions will be at Saint Marks. http://saintmarksschool.org/
