2010 May 3rd San Francisco
Dear Sameer and friends at SF OLPC:
RE: Waveplace OLPC REALNESS SUMMIT.
I have just returned from two months working at OLPC-Afghanistan in
Kabul, with Mike Dawson and his crew. Mike is one of the featured
speakers at the Waveplace Summit. I do believe that it will be a great
event.
I am thinking of going to it, because there is SO MUCH going on right
now in OLPC circles. Three days will be barely enough to get up to
speed.
Sameer, are you or anyone else from SF considering going? Let's
coordinate! Maybe we can find a way to fundraise together to support
this important learning experience. (Despite the fact that it is going
to be in a fancy tourist area, it appears to be at a camp-out, national
park type set of tents, not a resort).
Best regards,
Carol Ruth Silver
