Jim, best of luck with the conversion.

I recently did some ogg vorbis (sound) conversions of some CDs because
I didn't want to be encumbered by the mp3 patent issues.  I hope more
hardware and software developers support .ogg in addition to .mp3 in
the future.  Xiph projects are available at www.xiph.org

Sameer, thanks for those instructions sent to the list. I am sure that
ffmpeg2theora should get the job done assuming all the mpeg4 codecs
needed by the original file are on the conversion machine.
