Hi Guys,<br><br>Thanks for the concern! The "Hurricane Katrina Experience" all over again - but in the Philippines. Many with no water, electricity and food. Homes are submerged underwater - and many are still trapped. Schools in Pasig, Marikina, and Cainta are flooded - and many school supplies were completely destroyed. <br>
<br>Its a bleak picture - but different communities are beginning to mobilize to help those who are affected. If you have time, resources, or canned goods - please help with the relief efforts. Glad you're ok Carlos! I heard from Sandeep today and Jerome yesterday. They're both doing ok. Ryan had to move to Katipunan with relatives<br>as his place was completely flooded. <br><br>I echo Caroline's prayers. I hope everyone's safe. <br>

Lucky our place is on high ground. At my uncle's place, the<br>
floodwaters went up to the knees on the 2nd floor.<br>

This has been the worst rainfall ever experienced by Metropolitan<br>
Manila according to PAGASA, our weather bureau, that's why the floods<br>
were so bad.<br>

To put things in perspective, Hurricane Katrina rainfall = 380mm in<br>
Louisiana. Typhoon Ondoy last Saturday over here, rainfall = 410mm in<br>
Manila.<br>
