currently work with<br>Solutiongrove, a web development and IT consulting firm, based in<br>Winchester Massachussets.<br><br>If you monitor the sugar-devel and server-devel lists at<br>lists.laptop.org, you probably know Solutiongrove from SoaS (Sugar on a<br>Stick).<br><br>I have helped with testing SoaS and wrote modifications to some of the<br>python scripts (that will hopefully get accepted into the release<br>builds) that<br><br>- allow an SoaS stick to register with a Schoolserver<br>- enable an SoaS stick to backup/restore activities with Moodle on the<br>Schoolserver<br><br>Testing SoaS with a Schoolserver is ongoing but I have not had much time<br>due to other projects.<br><br>I'm interested in deploying SoaS because I think <br><br>?- allows us to reuse existing hardware<br>- depending on certain conditions deployment could be cheaper and<br>easier compared with deploying OLPC laptops<br>- allows kids to experience what the interface looks and
