I am not sure if anyone in the Philippines has an XO (I've heard that
it's quite hard to get one). Just a suggestion: Maybe we can ask PBSP
to install an XO emulator instead. It may not be the real thing but I
think it can suffice for the meantime while we're waiting for someone
who can lend them the latest model. <br>

haven't tried this myself but it seems easy to install as the
instructions are given step by step, which is quite helpful for first
time OLPC users. There is even a "really quick start" where everything
is included in a single download.<br><br>

you're willing to <br>pass the machines to another group when you're done using them. (This <br>description makes it sound longer and more formal than it actually is - <br>3-4 paragraphs should be more than adequate for everything.)<br>
<br>Having a clear statement of what you want and why will make it easier to <br>pass this information on to the right people. I'll be at the Boston <br>office this coming weekend, so if you have that proposal/request written <br>
