Would really help if we can install something like this for OM deployment.
OLPC is analyzing meta datas from Latin America. Remote visibility would
help to see what we still need to train for and what the kids are actually
learning.

Dear Support-gangsters,

following the OLPC SF summit and the panel discussion about "small"
deployments, I send (or resend for those who had it already) you the
report I did about our long shot wifi installation in NosyKomba. The
network is now up and running since 07/20/2011 and still stable with
capability of several skype video-conf (i am looking for the next low
bit-rate peer-to-peer apps ideally in sip and opensource) since the
installations with the people at the school.

I am adding some monitoring tool for the network to retrieve some
statistics on the link after several months and a webcamIP at the
school to test the capabiliy of the link. Also I believe with a stable
network we can implement the "ALEARN network" presented in SF and
exchange contents between the deployments through the XS. I don't know
if each deployment implement a XS but we can imagine an internal
network of XS connected together between deployments.
