Hi Caroline!

Lucky our place is on high ground. At my uncle's place, the
floodwaters went up to the knees on the 2nd floor.

This has been the worst rainfall ever experienced by Metropolitan
Manila according to PAGASA, our weather bureau, that's why the floods
were so bad.

To put things in perspective, Hurricane Katrina rainfall = 380mm in
Louisiana. Typhoon Ondoy last Saturday over here, rainfall = 410mm in
Manila.

Hope everyone else is okay.
