[OLPC-Philippines] G1G1 v2 starts November 2008

Checking the wiki, I just noticed that G1G1 v2 is confirmed for
November 2008 and will be done through Amazon. As for availability
outside the US, this is still up in the air, but this is the chance to
actually get XOs for evaluation and testing for those looking into
starting grassroots efforts in their community.

I've been thinking about formalising a group that focuses on the
technical aspects of the XO and other 4P platforms as well as
deployments to be able to provide professional support to
organizations that are looking into starting a laptop project in their
community. Results (code, documentation, etc.) will then be shared
back to the community with either an open or a liberal license
depending on need. There might be previous attempts to do this, but I
think its a good time to start looking at it again, especially that me
and Rowen are going to showcase the XO during Software Freedom Day in
2 weeks.
