For the love of all that is good and holy, please don't! hahah :P

Okay, do let us know if you do get it working and how the little
machine performs afterwards (zomg! wobbly windows on the XO! :D)

I think it would be great if we could all use a standardized benchmark
app for the XO so we could see how it performs with different OS
configurations installed :)

Ah, I have one test you guys can try:

For those who've tinkered around with alternative OS installs/configs
on the XO, can you try installing the Adobe Flash 10 browser plugin
then see if youtube videos play?

On XO-OS Sugar/Fedora 9 default, they just don't play at acceptable
levels: sound plays fine, but the video is basically a slideshow.

It would be really great if you guys can test this out.

Thanks!

Oh, btw, Jerome, were you able to get resolutions other than 1200x900
working on the XO on Intrepid? If so, were they full-screen resampling
versions instead of "smaller window areas" like with SCUMMVM which
will just shrink to a small 640x480 resolution area in the middle of
the screen with huge black borders all around?

Btw, how much total space did the install eat?

I find XO-Fedora 10's nearly 4GB initial install and the flat-out
requirement of a 4GB SD Card just nuts :-/

What the heck did they install in that thing? Even Win2k and WinXP
doesn't eat up that much space on the outset :-/

Then again, Linux distros these days come with a slew of apps on the outset...
