<div dir="ltr">There are several examples where this is the case: re-used PDF's end up on the XO due to a lack of volunteers (volunteer management really) to reformat them.<br><br>The Hesperian books are an example.<br>

<div dir="ltr">Ed, I think the issue isn't that postscript CAN'T be used to format properly for the target device. It is that it ISN'T being used. The PDF documents I have seen that are made available with and pointed to the XO are NOT formatted for the XO display. Presumably this is because there was an attempt to provide pre-existing resources or that OLPC had no access to the source documents to regenerate the PDF files. This would be a good volunteer activity, I think. <br>
<br>If we had a structured catalog of the electronic materials being suggested for / distributed with the XO, we could systematically go after doing this. The Wiki is totally inappropriate for this type of application. Anyone interested in this?<br>
