Excellent. You may know that the XO was originally unveiled at the
World Summit on the Information Society in Tunisia, by then UN
Secretary-General Kofi Annan. It is unfortunate that the government
there did not pick up the idea, but we know that much can be done by
volunteer work and by non-profits/NGOs.
Both OLPC and Sugar Labs have active mailing lists that can help you
get started, and information in their respective Wikis. I recommend
http://wiki.sugarlabs.org/go/Sugar_Labs/Getting_Involved
for the parts of the project dealing with software and content. That
page has a link for the It's-An-Education-Project mailing list. Also,
http://wiki.laptop.org/go/Participate
for hardware programs and country deployments.
This information will no doubt raise further questions for you, which
we will be happy to address.
Now, what are your questions? What would you like to try to do, and
what help do you need with it?
