Is the OLPC community aware of these videos: http://www.khanacademy.org/ ?
Don't know if the XOs can play them but they seem to be a great source 
of educational material.

Some time ago I ran into this motherlode:

Salman Kahn has been busy, more than 1800 short videos clearly
explaining math (and other subjects).
With a multi-million dollar prize from Google he's now translating
them into many languages.
