[Olpc-open] Please Help! My journal is gone

could you open a commandline by clinking on the button "Terminal"


click in the centre the screen and type
find . | grep '.pdf'

if you find any you can:
- mail to your self using webmail
- copy them to ubsstick/sd-card http://wiki.laptop.org/go/USB_drive
- copy them to other XO scp

To fasten up this proces to can make an archieve by using tar:

tar -cvzf my__pfd_backup.tgz `find . | grep '.pdf'`

note:
the ` is backtick upperleft corner of us qwerty keyboard
the ' is single quote mosty on right side of your keyboard
