[Olpc-open] Summer of Code?

Actually, I wanted to participate with a proposal that we're writing,
we just assumed OLPC would be a mentoring organization. Does this mean
we can't submit our proposal?

I guess google is the place to ask, but if somebody knows, I'd like to know.
