Indeed, there is a reason. I am working on a discovery guide that tells as
little as possible of what is discoverable up front. The aim is to give a
taste of discovery to adult XO purchasers, so they get the idea of what this
is all about. Then I want to show them (help them discover) how to introduce
children to collaborative discovery on the XO, rather than try to teach
them.
Another aim is to document the claim that teacher training is not essential
for the OLPC program to work, and to provide the essential teacher training
to make it even more wildly successful.
