Nice to meet you.  You make a good point that everyone who has
requested a g1g1 machine should be pointed towards emulators to get
them started.

This would be lovely.  I don't know if anyone is working on this now;
you should leave a note on the appropriate talk page, and for
user:mncharity (who was looking after qemu images for a while), to say
you're going to start.
