It can be confusing. Here's some background information. We have lots<br>
of different ways to install ...<br>
<br>
0. the XO-1 signed method requires .img and fs.zip files, and you hold<br>
down the four game pad buttons, but this only works for signed builds,<br>
<br>
1. the XO-1 development method requires .img and .crc files, and you<br>
use the copy-nand command,<br>
<br>
2. the XO-1 alternate development method used by partitioned<br>
development images requires .dat and .img files, and you use the<br>
update-nand command,<br>
<br>
3. the XO-1.5 signed method requires .zd and fs.zip files, and you hold<br>
down the four game pad buttons, ... notice how this is the same as for XO-1<br>
... quite intentional; we don't want to increase the training burden for<br>
the deployment teams,<br>
<br>
4. the XO-1.5 development method requires .zd file alone, and you use<br>
the fs-update command.<br>
<br>
So, if you're used to #0 and you are trying #1 for the first time, you<br>
end up having to disable security and get an extra .crc file.<br>
